Ilkley coach Rhys Morgan is hoping his team cane turn the new-look Stacks Field into a fortress as they prepare for Saturday’s Yorkshire Division One derby with Keighley.
The Dalesmen need to bounce back after last Saturday’s surprise 17-16 defeat at Knottingley and Morgan has revealed that one of the objectives the players set for themselves before the season was to win all their home games.
He said: “If we are to be successful we must win at home so I want the players to achieve their goal.”
Ilkley will have the experienced Mark Kirkby back after missing the Knottingley match but flanker Steve Daggs is unavailable so Nathan Bland is set to deputise.
“It should be a tough game but one we can win,” said Morgan
