THE Wharfedale FA Challenge Cup semi-finals and Wharfedale FA Sunday Challenge Cup quarter-finals took a beating from the snowy and icy weather at the weekend with all ties falling victim.
West Yorkshire League side Otley Town will now host Lancashire League side Guiseley Reserves at the Old Showfield on Saturday, January 16.
On the same date the other semi-final in this Resource Print Solutions sponsored competition will also take place.. That is between West Riding County Amateur League side Ventus Yeadon Celtic and West Yorkshire League Premier Division side Pool AFC.
The games will kick-off at 1.30pm and there will be extra-time and penalties if necessary.
The quarter-finals of the William Machell and Sons Sunday Challenge Cup will now be played on Sunday, January 17. when Yorkshire Rose AFC of Guiseley will host Horsforth St Margaret’s Sunday with Ben Roberts as referee.
Other ties see Malt Shovel Baildon, cup holders under their previous name Hockney, play Ventus United (referee Neil Barlow). This game will be played at Ventus United’s ground due to damage at the Baildon ground.
Saltaire Rangers will play host to Rawdon Old Boys Sunday , oft times cup winners and finalists under their previous guise of Rawdon AFC. The referee will be Michael Slingsby.
In the final tie of the round Yeadon Westfield will play host to Otley Town Sunday and the referee will be Ian Roberts.
The games will kick-off at 11am with extra-time and penalties if necessary.
