ILKLEY Town endured a frustrating afternoon on Saturday as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Glasshoughton Welfare.
The loss has resulted in the Baht'atters dropping to 8th in the NCEL Division One and they now sit two points behind South Leeds, who occupy 5th place and the final spot in the play-off places.
However, Ilkley do have a game in hand on them.
On Saturday, Liam Flanagan (4) and Adam Walsh (22) put Glasshoughton into an early 2-0 lead, and the Baht'atters couldn't respond until the 85th minute when Alfie Dean struck to give the visitors a glimmer of hope.
But the hosts held on for the victory.
Ilkley return to action on Friday night when they host Harrogate Railway Athletic in a 7:45 pm kick-off.
