IT wasn’t a day to remember for Ilkley Town on Saturday as they fell to a 4-0 defeat at home.
The visitors on this occasion were Dronfield Town, a side who have been struggling in 15th in the NCEL Division One, but they got it right this time to sweep the Baht’atters aside.
Ilkley were 3-0 down after just 28 minutes of the contest, with Max Rhodes (4), Connor Chapell (9) and Samuel Bebbington (28) the scorers in the first half.
Bebbington added his second late on in the second half to seal a shock victory for the away side.
