A FANTASTIC day was had at Ilkley Rugby Club last Saturday, as their annual 7s tournament took place.

There was a bumper crowd in the ground to witness elite men’s teams, women’s teams, senior colts teams and social teams battled it out.

Ilkley’s teams represented the club in all the competitions, while sides travelled from as far away as Middlesbrough, Hull and Doncaster.

There was food and drinks on offer, commentary from Drystone Radio and live entertainment too.

The latter came courtesy of local artists ADERFIA, a tech house duo who had just returned from Hideout festival in Croatia.

And if that was not enough, The Courtyard in Ilkley took centre stage from 10:30pm onwards, as they hosted the tournament’s official after-party.
