ILKLEY will kick-off their Regional One North East 2024-25 season with a home game against Heath on Saturday, September 7.

The Dalesmen are also at home the following week against Alnwick, and entertain Sandal on September 28, meaning that three of their first four matches are at home.

Sandal apart, they have two other teams in Level 5 - Huddersfield and Cleckheaton - from West Yorkshire.

Huddersfield are at Stacks Field on November 30, and Cleckheaton on March 1.

The respective away matches for the Dalesmen against their West Yorkshire rivals are on November 16 (Cleckheaton), January 4 (Sandal) and March 8 (Huddersfield).

Huddersfield have been relegated from National League Two North, while Selby have been promoted from Regional Two North East and Percy Park from Regional Two North.

Harrogate were promoted as champions of Regional One North East last season, while Doncaster Phoenix and Pontefract were relegated.

Meanwhile, spring rumours about Heath switching to a North West league and Scunthorpe to a Midlands league have proved unfounded.

Ilkley’s longest trips are to Percy Park, Blaydon and Alnwick in the north east, and Scunthorpe in the east.

The Dalesmen’s season ends at Heath on April 5, meaning that the Halifax club bookend their season.
