ONCE again, the weather over the weekend played havoc on local sport and Ilkley Town were one of the victims.
They were scheduled to visit league leaders FC St Helens in a battle at the top of the table, and a win would have seen the Baht’tatters move to within three points of top spot.
However, after a pitch inspection the pitch was deemed unplayable following a heavy downfall of rain.
Both clubs won’t have to wait long to face each other, though, as the fixture has been rearranged for this Saturday with both teams having a blank week in the calendar.
