ILKLEY’S Mayor, Karl Milner, paid a visit to Ilkley Rugby Club last Friday morning to meet Club Committee members and volunteers and see the superb rugby facilities they have.
He was well received and happy to present long standing member, Andrew Munro, with his Life Member’s tie. Stalwart Tony Griffiths also received his Life member’s tie.
Topics discussed were how much Ilkley Rugby Club helped with such as the carnival, cycling and running events as well as local school sports days amongst many others. This reflects how much a part of Ilkley the Rugby Club is as a community.
