BARNSLEY informed Guiseley that they cannot raise a team for tonight’s (Tuesday) fixture, therefore the match has been cancelled with the potential for a new date to be set.
The Lions’ pre-season will now start on the road at Thackley’s Dennyfield home on Tuesday, July 18, in a 7:45pm kick-off.
Three home fixtures against Spennymoor on Saturday, July 22 (3pm kick-off), Scarborough on Tuesday, July 25 (7:45pm kick-off) and Farsley Celtic on Saturday, July 29 (3pm kick-off) will follow.
Pre-season then continues on the road with a trip to Avro on Monday, July 31 (8pm kick-off) and Brighouse Town on Saturday, August 5 (3pm kick-off).
