GUISELEY'S long wait for another National League North game is set to go on even longer than expected, after their scheduled opponents for this Saturday, Chester, recorded a number of positives Covid-19 cases.
The Lions' first team were placed in a mandatory 14 day isolation period towards the end of last month after a positive test of their own, and as such, are in isolation until this Wednesday.
They missed their home fixture with Brackley while they were waiting on test results, and their games against Kidderminster Harriers and Chorley were officially postponed by the National League.
But with Chester no longer going ahead either, it means Guiseley are now not due back in action until next Tuesday's home game with Darlington.
New dates for the four postponed fixtures mentioned above will be announced in due course.
