GUISELEY have made a cracking start to the season, progressing in the FA Cup and thrashing Blyth Spartans 4-0 in their opening National League North game last Tuesday.
But their progress was halted by an outside influence this weekend, as their league game at Boston United was called off due to Covid-19.
Ahead of the game, three of the Boston players were showing coronavirus symptoms, with one having a confirmed positive test.
In the interests of player and staff safety, the match was called off.
Guiseley are back in action tomorrow night, as they host Matlock Town in the FA Cup Third Round Qualifying.
The game kicks off at 7:45pm, but will take place behind closed doors.
