GUISELEY may have pulled off a brilliant steal in signing a Sheffield United youngster on loan.
Ashton Hall has joined the Lions until 2nd January 2021 from the Premier League club.
He maintains the close link between Sheffield United and Guiseley which has already seen the likes of Marcus Dewhurst and George Cantrill ply their trade at Nethermoor.
Hall joined the Bramall Lane side in the summer of 2019 after attracting scouts to watch him play for Matlock Town.
This excellent form for Town saw him have trials at Sheffield and Leeds United.
The former picked him up and the centre-back has since played for the Blades' development squad.
The versatile defender, who is confident on the ball, featured in Guiseley's friendly trip to Chesterfield as a trialist.
The 19-year-old also came on as a 71st-minute substitute in his new side's 4-0 opening league win over Blyth Spartans.
