ANDREW Robinson took his season’s best figures of 7-31 as Yeadon strengthened their hold on the Braford League's Championship Two lead with a crushing 10-wicket win over Altofts on Sunday.
Robinson and Paul Machell (3-11) bowled out Altofts for just 44 before openers Robert Smith (25no) and Gareth Lee (18no) sealed victory in just 9.3 overs.
The result puts Yeadon 19 points clear of Carlton and Jer Lane, who experienced contrasting fortunes last weekend.
Carlton enjoyed two wins while Jer Lane went down to two defeats.
Yeadon also bagged 20 points on Saturday after beating Adwalton by 157 runs.
Sarmad Hameed made 111, an innings containing 20 fours, as Yeadon made 225-9.
Last season Gareth Lee was a star turn for Adwalton, but on this occasion he proved to be their tormentor as he took 4-12 as they were bowled out for 68. Fellow spinner James Massheder took 4-10.
