SOAP stars will mix with sporting celebrities on Sunday when Windhill & Daisy Hill Cricket Club raise funds for junior cricket.
David Kennedy, who plays Dirk Savage in Hollyoaks, and Matthew Wolfenden – David Metcalfe in Emmerdale – are expected to either play or umpire in the 30 overs per side match between a Celebrity XI and a home XI, which starts at 1pm.
Former Bradford City player and manager Peter Jackson is also expected to feature at Busy Lane, as is former Huddersfield Town, Bradford City and Albion Sports striker Danny Facey.
Alongside the match there will be a fun day, with the gates opening at noon.
Among the attractions will be cheerleaders, a bouncy castle, raffles and a tombola, while there will also be food and drink available, including ice creams and burgers.
