BEN Rhydding really struggled with the heavy pitch at Gateshead. They had 90 per cent of all possession in the first 20 minutes but went 1-0 down in their North Men's League Division One game.
George Gamble scored on the post shortly after to level but Rhydding could not turn possession into goals.
They had so many chances that went unconverted as it remained a slow and dull game.
Torran Hockley had very little to do in goal and despite having double the number of circle entries than their rivals, Rhydding never looked like scoring.
