Amber Woffindin's invitation to a Talent ID day was a reward for her hard work
Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club member Amber Woffindin was one of six players from Yorkshire to attend the Lawn Tennis Association’s (LTA) National Talent ID Day at Bolton Arena.
The players were among 42 youngsters from across the country invited to the sessions.
Wharfedale-based Amber, 11, a pupil at Ilkley Grammar School, said: “It was really exciting to head to the Bolton Arena because I have never been invited to Talent ID before.
“I did quite a lot of practice so it was really nice to get rewarded.”
