Ilkley’s Katherine Church has won the ladies section of the season-long Time Trial competition, promoted by Bronte Wheelers and Neophix & Nelson Wheelers.

She finished with a tally of 238 points after the final event which was a 10- miler last Wednesday.

The winner was professional Rob Partridge riding for UK Youth in a superb time of 20min 30secs followed closely by Jason Bateman of Pendle Forest with a time of 20:46.

Several personal bests were achieved by the 39 competitors in what proved to be a fast evening.

The Time Trial League has proved a huge success with well over 120 competitors representing more than 20 different clubs.

Overall winner of the men’s event was Jason Bateman with 494 points closely followed by Peter Barusevicus with 491 points.

A prize presentation was held after the final event and the winners were presented with a signed print of Shane Green’s “Tour de France” artwork kindly donated by Bronte’s Heather Sanderson who has worked tirelessly all season in collating the weekly results.
