In tonight’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! episode (December 4), Coleen Rooney was forced to ask for medical help following the latest trial she took part in.

The medic had to help her remove a critter that found its way into her ear after she took part in Arcade of Agony.

The Bushtucker Trial saw Rooney as well as Danny Jones, Reverend Richard Coles and GK Barry collect coins from a box filled with fish guts in the first round.

The remaining celebrities took part in the second half.

With the coins, the celebrities had to collect tickets from inside an arcade grabbing machine.

In Coleen's trial, the campmates had to compete to win as many tickets as possible to help secure themselves immunity from the next two public votes – winning would also mean they could take part in the final trial, Celebrity Cyclone.

Rooney stood by the arcade machine at the end of the trial and said: “I’ve got one in my ear.”

A medic was able to help her out with a syringe wash and in no time, the critter exited her ear.

One half of presenting duo Ant and Dec, Ant McPartlin said: “Oh my god, it just jumped out.”

This isn’t the first time medics have had to help a celebrity after a trial this series though.

Coleen’s experience with a critter in her ear comes after Tulisa Contostavlos, who has now been voted off the show, was also helped by a medic after a critter entered her ear as well.

Having said this, ITV didn't air the clip of the medic helping Tulisa out as it happened part way through a trial.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! airs every day at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
