WESTVILLE House School in Ilkley has officially opened their new playground.
The school PTA have been fundraising tirelessly over the last few years to raise the funds for the fantastic new play area with superb new play equipment for the children to enjoy.
Some of the fundraising events were Christmas fairs and wreath making, auctioning of prizes at the school's annual PTA party, second hand uniform sales and students of all ages took part in a sponsored marathon in a month where they ran, skipped and swam 26 miles each to help raise money for their school.
The ribbon at the grand opening was cut by the School’s Head Boy, Alex Gupta and Head Girl, Sienna Turner. They would like to thank all who contributed.
