THE army bomb disposal squad has been called in after a report of an old hand grenade being discovered in Bradford.
West Yorkshire Police received a report at 3.51pm of an old explosive being found during a clear out of a property in Hillside Close, in Addingham, Ilkley.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and a police cordon was put in place.
A number of houses have been evacuated as well, as a precaution.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said "army bomb disposal experts are awaited at the scene".

"At 3:51pm today (22/11), police received a report of an old hand grenade having been found during a clear out of a property on Hillside Close, Addingham, Ilkley.
"Emergency services have attended the scene and a cordon has been put in place.
"A number of properties have been evacuated as a precaution while army bomb disposal experts are awaited at the scene."
