OTLEY Squash Club is delighted to have secured sponsorship for their sports t-shirts through the enterprising efforts of their 15-year-old youth officer, William Guy.
William came up with a design for the shirts and, having secured interest from a number of club members, then approached some businesses with connections to the club.
After several rounds of negotiations William has secured £1,000 for the Squash Club from Service 2 (HVAC) Ltd, a leading national heating engineering company based in Keighley.
Mr James Lovery, co-founder and director of Service2, said: "We are committed sponsors of local sports and were keen to support Otley Squash Club. We were very impressed with young William's professional and enthusiastic approach."
William himself is a keen squash player and would like to see the game grow in popularity among young people and for Otley Squash Club to continue to thrive.
"I really enjoy playing squash at Otley Squash Club and hope my efforts will contribute to its success," he said.
