ILKLEY Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing their first Candlelight Concert on Sunday, November 3rd at 3.30pm in the beautiful setting of All Saints’ Church in Ilkley.
Soloist, Rosemary Anderson, will play Weber’s wonderfully dramatic bassoon concerto, which exploits the full range of this versatile instrument. Schubert’s Rosamunde Overture and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3 ‘The Scottish’, which was dedicated to Queen Victoria, complete this popular programme.
