Ray Holah, who has died aged 94
AIRE-WHARFE League vice-president Ray Holah has died aged 94.
League auditor from 1974-2000, Ray was a top-order batter for Tong Park Esholt’s first XI, scoring 870 runs in league matches at a healthy average of 37.83 with a highest score of 121 not out, while in cup matches he totalled 149 runs at an average of 49.67 with a best score of 66.
His funeral service will take place at Pudsey Parish Church on Tuesday, October 22 (12.30pm).
