FRANKIE Archer returns to the stage at Otley Courthouse on Sunday, October 6 (8pm) to showcase her second EP, ‘Lovely Joan’.
Frankie Archer has emerged as a dynamic force in the electrofolk scene, captivating audiences with her innovative blend of manipulated samples, synths, and earthy Northumbrian fiddle. Her music defies genres, challenging traditions and calling for a fairer future, earning her accolades as a trailblazer in the industry.
Crowned the winner of the 2023 Christian Raphael Prize, Frankie’s artistry has garnered praise from influential figures, with her music featured on Later… With Jools Holland and championed by tastemakers at BBC Radio 2 and 6Music.
Earlier this year, she graced the stage at Glastonbury Festival and supported the rising band The Last Dinner Party, whose sound is currently dominating the radio.
