CHILDREN took part in 75 climbing sessions at Clip n' Climb in Ilkley this summer, paid for by Ilkley Youth and Community Association (IYCA).
Chairman of IYCA Martin Smith Chairman said: "Our aim was to benefit children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy a session at Clip n’ Climb because of financial pressure.
"Events took place on three days in July and August for children aged between five and 12. After these sessions Clip n’ Climb were kind enough to give us some complimentary vouchers.
"We would like to extend our grateful thanks to Sally and Richard Shelton at Clip n’ Climb for restricting the sessions for the event and reducing the ticket price for us. The children and the adults accompanying them really enjoyed the sessions which are very well organised by the staff there.
"Finally, many thanks to our donors Rotary Club of Ilkley and Ilkley Wharfedale Rotary Club on assisting our funds to allow the events to take place."
