Professional services firm, AAB, has appointed a new Leeds-based partner, Mark Bain, within the company's Virtual Finance Function (VFF).
The VFF is a "bespoke cloud-based solution" that gives businesses access to real-time accounting data.
Mr Bain is a chartered accountant with more than 20 years of experience.
He was most recently the COO of a prominent brand.
He will be helping businesses to get the right support at the right time, without the commitment of hiring in-house.
Mr Bain said: "I am delighted to be joining the Virtual Finance team at this pivotal time.
"The opportunity to contribute to the exceptional growth trajectory of AAB and build on the impressive results we've already accomplished is exhilarating, ensuring that our clients receive top-tier, transformative financial solutions."
Lauren McIlroy, head of the Virtual Finance Function at AAB, added: "We are thrilled to welcome Mark to the team.
"His expertise in finance technology and strategy aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing innovative and tailored financial solutions to our clients."
Mr Bain's is the second senior appointment to the team in as many months, according to AAB.
