A spokesperson for Otley Museum added: "As part of the National Heritage Open Day event, Otley Museum will be presenting 'Wheels and Ways' in Otley Courthouse on 7th September from 11am-3pm.

"With an exhibition designed to show modes of transport from packhorses and stage coaches to the slightly more comfortable bicycles, trains, trams and the unforgettable slatted seats of the Ledgard buses, (running on time in all weathers), we hope to stir some memories.

"Otley was also the home of the Electromobile Company producing their battery operated vehicles in the 1920’s, far ahead of their time."
