OTLEY Camera Club is excited to announce the start of their new season on Thursday, September 5.
Whether you're an experienced photographer or just beginning your journey, the club offers a welcoming environment for anyone with a passion for photography.
The upcoming season promises an exciting line-up of events, including:
Practicals: hands-on sessions covering various aspects of photography, with support from our experienced members.
Speakers: The club invites professional photographers and experts to share their experiences, provide insights, and conduct masterclasses.
Competitions: Members can participate in themed contests judged by guest judges, offering a great way to showcase your images and receive invaluable constructive feedback.
Social Evenings: Relaxed, friendly gatherings where photography can be discussed and enjoyed.
In addition to the regular Thursday night meetings, they also organise trips to events and locations that offer fantastic opportunities to capture stunning photographs.
The club is actively involved in the local community, participating in events like the Otley Common project, Otley Cycle Races, Otley Carnival, and supporting various sports clubs including Leeds Warriors Ice Hockey team, Otley Netball Club, and Leeds Gorse Volleyball Team.
The new season starts on Thursday, September 5 at 7:15pm, with meetings held at 1A Mercury Row, Otley, LS21 3HE.
Prospective members are welcome to attend three sessions free of charge before deciding to join.
