A SUMMER music festival in Ben Rhydding set a fundraising record by raising nearly £12,000 for charity.
The local community who attended the music festival, which is also known as Pat’s Party, raised nearly £12,000 for Save the Children and local food banks in Bradford and Keighley.
Ben Rhydding Scout and Guide Group also received a donation in recognition of the work they do all year round, and the support they provide for the party itself.
"Thank you again for choosing Bradford Central Foodbank,” said Josie Barlow, Foodbank Manager at Bradford Central Foodbank. “Your kind £2,800 donation will provide 1,680 meals to local families this year."
The Pat's Party committee would like to thank the community for supporting the event in ever greater numbers, including over 50 volunteers.
They also thanked all of the sponsors, including lead sponsor Harrison Robinson estate agents.
