ILKLEY Town Council has agreed once again to fund play in the park sessions for Ilkley residents and visitors this summer.
The free of charge play scheme is held on a weekly basis in the Riverside Gardens, and is organised by Bradford Council’s Community Play and Activities Development Service and run by experienced and qualified staff.
There are a wide range of activities provided, including bouncy castles, swing ball, rounders, mini golf, football, giant snakes and ladders, connect four and space hoppers.
This year the Play in the Park will be held from 11am to 3pm on the following dates: Monday, July 22; Monday, July 29; Monday, August 5; Monday, August 12; Monday, August 19 and Wednesday, August 28.
A mobile Changing Places facility will be provided at the events on July 29 and August 28.
A spokesperson for Ilkley Town Council said: "We hope lots of families can go along to these play sessions and are able to enjoy the games and activities that are provided – it’s a great opportunity for Ilkley families to have fun with their kids and enjoy the different activities together."
