MENSTON Area Nature Trust is hosting a Table Top Trail around the village to encourage people to swap and reuse items, or resell unwanted goods, and raise money for charitable causes at the same time.
A spokesperson said: "We are inviting Menston residents to set up a table outside their house, between 11am and 1pm on Saturday, July 13, 2024. The cost is £10. If you register with MANT by July 8, 2024, either through the form on the website https://mant.org.uk/tttrail/, or by emailing info@mant.org.uk, your house will be put on a map of the village so people can find your table.
"For anyone who lives on the periphery of Menston, or outside Menston, you are welcome to set up a table at our hub in the car park of the Malt Shovel, Menston. Refreshment stalls are also encouraged!
"Any money raised by Menston Area Nature Trust will be used to pay off the loan acquired to buy Weston Woods for the community (pictured). Participants are encouraged to donate part of their profits to the cause, should they wish."
