ILKLEY Manor House hosts its Summer Makers’ Fair 2024 this weekend.
Small businesses and artistic makers will be selling their wares from 10am to 5pm in the courtyard - weather permitting - on Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30, and visitors can enjoy entertainment from local bands Park Avenue Jazz Quartet and Sand Dollar, an Americana trio.
Andreea Chitan, events lead for Ilkley Manor House, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together, support local artisans, and enjoy wonderful music and refreshments in the courtyard. We can’t wait!”
After shopping for gifts and treats at the fair visitors can then join the rest of the team inside Ilkley Manor House. The House is a Grade I-listed medieval building, home to a permanent heritage display with some artefacts that are thousands of years old. Upstairs, you will find the Solar Gallery filled with more ceramics, textiles, jewellery, paintings, cards, and prints created by local artists.
For all Ilkley Manor House’s events and activities until August visit the website or pick up the summer programme from the Ilkley Visitor Information Centre, local shops, or from the outdoor leaflet holder located next to Ilkley Manor House’s front door.
