ILKLEY and District u3a will be holding its 2024 Showcase event on Saturday, June 15, at the Clarke Foley Community Hub on Cunliffe Road between 10.30am and 1pm.
Ilkley and District u3a is one of the largest and most buoyant mutual learning organisations in the northern region. With 2000-plus members across lower Wharfedale, and a range in excess of 100 diverse groups and activities, from art appreciation and railways to singing and walking cricket - and everything in between. The retired and semi-retired learn together and share their skills.
A spokesperson for the organisation said: "This annual Showcase is an opportunity to meet our group-leaders and members, and check out the huge range of activities taking place daily right across the area.
"Call into the Clarke Foley Community Hub on 15th June for a cup of tea and a chat, meet our group leaders and Trustees, and think about joining up for the bargain price of £15."
