A SUMMER Social will raise much needed funds for Ben Rhydding Primary School.

The summer social is being organised by the primary school's PTA and will take place at Ilkley Brewery, 40 Ashlands Road, Ilkley, on Saturday, June 29 from 7pm to 1am. Tickets are £20 and include a welcome drink.

The event is open to all local residents, not just parents of Ben Rhydding Primary School pupils.

Jonny Moore, Director at Ilkley Brewery said: "Here at Ilkley Brewery we’re always keen to support the local community and have had great success doing so over the years, so having the opportunity to get involved with the Ben Rhydding Primary School PTA and stage the event has been a real pleasure. With my own three children at the school, I know the tireless effort the PTA put in to raise funds and have really pulled out the stops with this one. It promises to be a great event which will hopefully have sufficient success to make it an annual event in the future, we look forward to welcoming everyone for a beer!”

Jessica Murray, Chair of Ben Rhydding Primary School PTA said: "We've organised a Summer Social as an opportunity to get parents and carers together to celebrate another fantastic year at Ben Rhydding Primary School and to raise some much needed PTA funds.
"It's looking to be a great evening with a fantastic local band booked in who will keep us on the dance floor with music from the 60s to now, some great food, a raffle and of course some lovely Ilkley Brewery beers!"

The event is being sponsored by local businesses; Tranmer White, Moor Developments and Hughes Bakery.
