SPEED restrictions are in place across the north's rail network following heavy rainfall.
Passengers are being urged to check before they travel and to allow extra time for their journeys.
There are planned speed restrictions on some sections of the following lines:
- Calder Valley – Bradford Interchange
- Sowerby Bridge
- Bramley – Bradford
- Ilkley – Leeds
- Newcastle – MetroCentre
A Network Rail spokesperson said: "Network Rail engineers are working around the clock to monitor the lines and keep passengers on the move.
"Our teams are also constantly reviewing the situation and will remove the speed restrictions as soon as possible."
Karen Duffy, operations director for Network Rail’s North and East route, said: “The safety of our passengers and colleagues is our top priority and this is why we need to put speed restrictions in place.
“Our teams are working hard to monitor the sites and to keep people moving as much as possible.
“We are urging customers to check before they travel with National Rail Enquiries or via your train operator to see if your journey could be impacted.”
