GUIDE Dogs’ annual tea party is back in Guiseley this April.
Every cup of tea and cupcake sold helps by raising money to support more life-changing guide dog partnerships.
Nicola Ridgway, community fundraising relationship manager (North Yorkshire and East Ridings) said: “It costs £55,000 to support a guide dog from birth to retirement. The annual tea parties, which are going on up and down the country during April, play a major part in raising the vital funds needed to breed every single guide dog. A donation as small as £6 will support a working guide dog for one day. Every cuppa really does count!
“As well as helping us to raise vital funds, you will be able to find out more about the work of Guide Dogs and meet some local guide dog owners and volunteers.
"So please join us for some tasty refreshments at Guiseley Methodist Church Hall, 1 Orchard Way, Guiseley, Leeds, LS20 9EP on Saturday 20th April between 10.30am-12.30pm
"You’ll be enabling thousands of people with sight loss to lead confident, independent and fulfilling lives."
