BUS service 64 between Ilkley and Skipton will be improved from next Monday (April 8), following a review of subsidised bus services by North Yorkshire Council.
A statement from Dales and Bowland Community Interest Company said: "Many people were inconvenienced when the service was reduced in May last year, so following many complaints an improved service is being reintroduced, with buses running mainly hourly throughout the day on Monday to Saturday. The last bus back to Ilkley will now leave Skipton at 6.15pm on Monday to Friday and 5.40pm on Saturdays. On Sundays and Bank Holidays Cravenlink services 864 and 873 continue running between Ilkley and Skipton with no changes. These services are all operated by Keighley Bus Company.
"Also from next Monday there will be a minor change to North Yorkshire Council minibus service 74A, which runs between Ilkley, Bolton Abbey and Grassington on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The bus at 5.05pm from Grassington to Ilkley will instead depart at 4.50pm and run 15 minutes earlier throughout the journey.
"Timetables for all these services are available online at www.dalesbus.org"
