A CARE home in Yeadon has been named one of the ‘Top 20 Care Homes in Yorkshire & The Humber’ for the second year running at the prestigious Care Home Awards.
Weavers Court Care Home, run by Adore Care Homes, beat tough competition from across the county, with over 1400 homes in the running for the annual recognition of outstanding care homes in the region.
Boasting an impressive 10 out of 10 rating on carehome.co.uk, the UK’s leading care home reviews site and organiser of the awards, Weavers Court Care Home has built an impeccable reputation for its commitment to care since opening in 2022.
Andrew Long, Co-Founder and CEO at Adore Care Homes said: “I am extremely proud of Care Home Manager, Mariyam and her whole team at Weavers Court. Everyone at Weavers is passionate, dedicated and committed to what they do. We have a fantastic set of relationships with our residents and relatives. We strive to keep a “family feel” to life at Weavers and there can be no better endorsement of everything the team does, than the opinions of the people we look after and their loved ones.”
The annual Care Home Awards 2024 recognises 20 of the top-rated care homes in each region of the UK based on reviews from residents or service users and their family or friends.
All care homes listed on carehome.co.uk are automatically entered into the awards providing they meet the criteria for reviews (posted within the award consideration window, at least five reviews).
Among the reviews given, family of residents have praised Weavers Court, saying: “The staff at Weavers Court were incredibly supportive and caring towards my mum and the whole of our family... we couldn't have wished for a better choice of home.”
With another commenting: “We visit our friend most weeks and find the staff very friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful place to live, and my friend is very happy here.”
The home offers residents a taste of luxury with an on-site cinema, library, beauty salon and landscaped gardens. As well as a dedicated ethos of ‘health, happiness, vitality and wellbeing’.
