THE acclaimed chamber choir, Leeds Guild of Singers, has been part of the Yorkshire classical music scene for more than 75 years.
Now the group returns to Ilkley for a special concert on Saturday, March 2, 7.30pm at St Margaret’s Church, Queen’s Road, LS29 9QL.
The programme “Lament and Adoration” features beautiful singing for the Lent season by well-known composers, alongside rarely heard works. Expect pieces from across the world, down the centuries and in a range of styles. Not to be missed!
Tickets are £15 for adults including a souvenir programme.
Available at the door or online at leedsguildofsingers.org.uk. Entry is free for students and under 18s, as the choir continues to encourage young people to enjoy classical music.
