ST John's Church in Menston is hosting a concert of popular music by local people of all ages on Saturday, March 2nd from 3pm to 5pm.
This varied programme of popular classics will feature string quartets, piano, cornet and as well as singers. Music includes Schubert, Chopin, Vivaldi, Ragtime and Abba.
Marilyn Banister, a member of the church said: “St John’s Church is a lovely space and we wanted to welcome people who enjoy making music in Menston to make use of it. Performers range in age from nine to 90 and we are hoping for great support from local people. Do come along.”
Tickets are £5 and include refreshments. Children go free. The concert is in aid of church funds.
The venue is St John’s Church, Burley Road, Menston, LS29 6EU. There is on road parking.
