AIREBOROUGH Rotary Club's second Horsforth Halloween Trail raised a splendid £500 for the Rob Burrow MND Appeal, taking the overall total donated by the club to £1,654.
Rotary members would like to thank the 37 shops and businesses who produced a variety of imaginative designs or simply donated and to those who bought maps from Marples Chocolates and Honey Pottery. Horsforth streets certainly developed a spooky air for a week or two.
The overall winners were|: 1st Robert Leese at R & A Fuller Hair World; 2nd Nathalie Thouvignon at Holidays by Design (both on Town Street) and 3rd Hunters Estate Agents, New Road Side. Special commendations went to Senior and Rhodes Opticians, Hopscotch Shoes and Woodside Fisheries.
The appeal aims to give people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) the best quality of life by building a state-of-the-art MND Care Centre in Leeds.
