FOR their Christmas Festival members of Ben Rhydding Methodist church are gathering together a large and varied collection of Nativity scenes illustrating the birth of Jesus.
They come in all shapes and sizes, from different cultures and traditions and many have interesting back stories to tell. Also on display will be Christmas scenes from around the world, Christmas poems, art work by children from Ben Rhydding and Ashlands primary schools together with a contribution from the children of Ben Rhydding Pre-school.
The Festival will be open on the afternoons of Tuesday to Friday December 5th to 8th from 2pm-5pm and on Saturday, December 9th from 10am-noon and 2pm-4pm. Refreshments will be available and all are welcome.
