A NEW shop will open its doors in Ilkley this week as part of a retailer's expansion.
A GO Outdoors Express will open its doors on Station Road this Saturday (August 26) in the unit formerly occupied by M&Co.
It's part of a long-term plan to open GO Express stores nationwide.
The 5,400-square-foot store will stock a variety of brands staff will be on hand to offer expert advice and provide services like boot and rucksack fitting for customers. The store also offers DPD and Evri services.
Lee Bagnall, CEO of GO Outdoors, said: “We are extremely excited and proud to be able to expand GO Outdoors onto the high street and to serve customers within the convenience of their new local store.
“We have had a brilliant couple of years at GO, as more and more people are reaping the benefits of the outdoors for their physical and mental well-being, and this expansion is the outcome of that success.
“Store manager Stuart Avery is looking forward to offering customers an unbeatable range of outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, whilst supporting the local community and high street.”
GO Outdoors Express Ilkley has created 11 job roles and the company plans to continue its Express store expansion across the country over the coming months.
