HORSFORTH based facilities management and maintenance provider Lonsdale Contracts has appointed Mark Johnson as business development manager.
Mark, a former first-class cricketer, brings a wealth of experience to Lonsdale having worked for blue-chip organisations such as Norland (now CBRE), NG Bailey and Lorne Stewart where he was instrumental in securing building maintenance contracts.
The appointment is part of a strategic growth plan for the business and coincides with the acquisition of a new 2,360sq ft. head office in West Park, adjacent to the Outer Ring Road.
Christian Higgins, joint Managing Director of Lonsdale Contracts, said: "Mark is an excellent addition to our team and his knowledge of the facilities management sector will be pivotal in helping us achieve our ambitious targets.”

Formed in 2008 by Christian Higgins and Andrew Mayo, Lonsdale Contracts provides bespoke commercial and residential facilities management and maintenance through its own in-house workforce to clients including; pension funds, managing agents, housing associations and estate management companies.
They also provide new build after-care to the construction industry.
