ILKLEY Manor House Trust is holding two drop in events for people to find out more about joining its team of volunteer gardeners.
A spokesperson for the Trust said: "Do you love gardening and plants? Could you spare an hour or two each week - or even once a month?
"Come down to the Ilkley Manor House courtyard to meet members of the volunteer gardening team this Saturday and Saturday, August 5. Have a coffee and chat about joining us at the House.
"The drop in sessions are: Saturday, July 22, 2pm to 3:30pm or Saturday, August 5, 2pm to 3.30pm.
"We look forward to seeing you then. Phone 07523 108952 or email volunteer@ilkleymanorhouse.org for more information."
The beautiful Grade 1 medieval Ilkley Manor House is a volunteer led charity, entirely reliant on the voluntary efforts of local people to keep the doors open, so the public can enjoy the House’s vibrant arts and heritage programme.
In the Spring of 2021 they were awarded Volunteering Bradford’s ‘People Can Make a Difference’ quality mark, which demonstrates everything is in place to make sure that volunteers have a great volunteering experience.
