The beautiful Ilkley Manor House courtyard will once again be a hive of artistic activity this forthcoming weekend, full to bursting with local creatives selling their prints, cards, paintings, jewellery, furniture, and more.
Andreea Chitan, Events Lead for Ilkley Manor House, says: “Our popular Summer Makers’ Fair is always a highlight of our annual programme of events. This year we have curated some of the very best local artists to bring you a wide range of creative delights: from stunning glass trinket dishes and framed collaged landscapes to realistic (but unfortunately not edible) bourbon biscuit necklaces. We're now just keeping our fingers crossed for sunny weather!”
Weather permitting, the Summer Makers’ Fair will take place outside in the Ilkley Manor House courtyard on Saturday 8 July and Sunday 9 July between 10am and 4pm. Once you’ve shopped for something special, you can always just pop inside the House to discover fascinating objects in their permanent heritage display or browse artwork in the Solar Gallery, which is currently exploring the theme of 'play'. Admission to the Summer Makers’ Fair and Ilkley Manor House is free.
