ENQUIRIES are ongoing following a report of an assault in Ilkley.
The incident unfolded yesterday evening (June 11).
West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to Beanlands Parade, near the River Wharfe, at around 5.30pm to a report of an assault where a male sustained a head injury.
He was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police, said: "We were called at 5.28pm to a report of an assault in Beanlands Parade, Ilkley where a male was found with a head injury.
"He was taken to hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing."
