Prince Henry’s Grammar School Year 11 Student Lucy Chambers has been balancing her preparation for GCSEs with filming for the new CBBC series Silverpoint, which is out on BBC iPlayer this week.

Lucy is well known at the school for her acting talents and starred as Dewey Finn in the school’s production of School of Rock. She has previously appeared in other small TV roles and also at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.

“Living away from home in Northern Ireland and spending so much time with such talented and kind cast mates was such a brilliant experience. I have made lots of lovely new friends and being on set was so exciting and I learnt so much,” said Lucy.

Drama Leader Yvonne Wittering said: "It doesn't surprise me at all that Lucy was successful within the auditions for Silverpoint. Lucy shone right back in year 7 when she was Angie in our production of 'Our House.' She now has her chance to show what a pocket rocket she is in the fantasy, action thriller of Silverpoint. I watched the trailer this week, I'm glued on it now!"
