A PE specialist and health mentor working in Addingham Primary School completed the London Marathon in April, raising money for the NSPCC.

Jonathan Stourton, who is also a director with Kidfit, has raised an amazing £2,300 for the UK's leading children's charity which has been operating for over 130 years. The NSPCC provides vital support to help rebuild the lives of children.

Jonathan said: "It was an amazing experience but also an incredible opportunity to raise money for an amazing charity who help so many children across the country. We raised £2300 and would like to thank everybody who sponsored me.

"I must admit I was very nervous as I’ve never run that far before but with the atmosphere and support around you it was an experience I will never forget."

He added: "I am a PE specialist/health mentor working in Addingham Primary school delivering PE, helping children reach their full potential. Alongside PE I work in communities providing vulnerable families and children with food hampers with the support of HAF.

"I’m passionate about working with and supporting children and have huge admiration for the NSPCC and the amazing work they do."
