THE Buttercross Belles are inviting you to join them on May Day when they will be dancing at Otley's historic maypole.
The festivities take place on Monday, May 1 from 2.30pm to 4pm.
The Buttercross Belles is a local team of Morris dancers and will be celebrating May Day in the traditional way at the maypole on Cross Green.
The dancers will be joined by musicians and dancers from Otley's other morris teams.
The event is designed to provide fun and nostalgic entertainment for everyone. Asd well as watching the morris dancing there will be the chance for vistiors to dance with ribbons around the historic maypole to traditional music which has been passed down through the generations.
All children must be supervised and assisted in the dances by a parent or carer. Everyone is welcome.
